Why Did You Decide to Become a Dentist?

Growing up, Dr. Lee was fascinated and inspired by her father’s profession as a dental lab technician. She loved watching him make teeth and how he would collaborate with dentists to restore their patients’ smiles. She also loved going to the dentist herself because she got to see firsthand how they were able to provide immediate care for people in need, and from there, she decided being a dentist was her life calling.

Where Did You Study Dentistry?

Dr. Lee attended Colorado College for her undergraduate studies before continuing her academic career at Loma Linda University School of Dentistry, where she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery in 2019. She’s passionate about staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in her field and has taken continuing and advanced education courses in the following topics:

  • Invisalign treatment
  • Minimal Sedation and Nitrous Oxide
  • Dental implant restorations
  • Occlusion, TMJ and Occlusal Guards

She also remains up-to-date with the latest advancements in her field by maintaining active membership in the American Dental Association and Texas Dental Association.

Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?

Dr. Lee’s family lives in Frisco, so they’re happy to be so close to their loved ones. Together, Dr. Lee and Dr. Min have a maltipoo named Lily who they absolutely adore. In her free time, Dr. Lee loves playing the piano or flute for her church praise team, taking walks with Lily, and relaxing at home watching Korean dramas and shows on Netflix. You might not expect it for a dentist, but Dr. Lee has a sweet tooth for creamy desserts like crème brûlée and ice cream!
